On November 15, 2001, Carolyn J. Montgomery, Barbara E. Passmore and Jane L. Thurston sold Plat 3, Lot 15 to the Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust. This property is located on West Main Road and is comprised of two and two tenths (2.2) acres of open space farmland. The property is currently cultivated for hay.
A Baseline Documentation Report was completed on the Camara property in May 2020. The report outlines the historic uses of the property as well as its current uses (see below). The entire report is available on this website.
Prior Land Uses: The Premises was historically a hayfield. Early historic photographs from as far back as 1939 show the Premises as a hayfield. The general composition of the Premises is similar to how it was in 1939.
Current Land Uses: Today, the Premises is a hayfield. Stonewalls denote three of the four boundaries. Some trees line the edges of the hayfield. The addition of trees is the only notable change to the Premises. The Premises remains largely unchanged from 1939 to present day.
