Julianna C. Rocha and John E. Flores donated the fee simple interest in Plat 17, Lot 15 to the Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust. This Conveyance occurred on January 28, 2004. The property, know as the “Flores/Rocha” property, is located on Swamp Road and contains .64 acres of open space land.

A Baseline Documentation Report was completed for this property in July 2020.  The report outlines the historical and current land uses (see below).  The entire report may be viewed on this website.

Prior Land Uses: The Premises was most likely historically used as a supporting woodlot for agriculture.  The Premises was historically forest.  Early historic aerial photographs from as far back as 1939 show the Premises as forest.  Between 1939 and 1951, the premises is less dense forest.  The general composition of the Premises is similar to how it was in 1939.

Current Land Use: Today, the Premises is deciduous forest (>80% hardwood).  All of the Premises is classified as deciduous forested wetland (red maple swamp).
