On August 9, 1991, Rosamond vonSteinwehr donated the development rights to a portion of Plat 16, Lot 75-2, to the Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust. The donated development rights totaled 7.9 acres of the property, which is located on Meadow Lane.
In 2011, Plat 16, Lot 60 was merged with Lot 75. Through this merger, 2.11 acres of development rights were donated to the Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust. This increased the number of acres preserved to 10.1 acres. The preserved property would then increase again in 2014, when the Binger property, Plat 16, Lot 52-2 is preserved.
The Binger property, Plat 16, Lot 52-2 was preserved through a Conservation Easement. The Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust purchased the Conservation Easement from Randi vonSteinwher and Matthew Binger on February 21, 2014. The Conservation Easement protected 4.96 acres of property. From the 4.96 acres of protected property, 2.46 acres were added to Plat 16, Lot 75-2. The result was that Plat 16, Lot 75-2 contains 12.5 acres and Plat 16, Lot 52-2 contains 2.5 acres.
